We are proud to announce that, after six years of dedicated work, the SMR module at the heart of the LIFE SUGAR project has successfully started converting natural gas into hydrogen!
This represents a major milestone for the project and an important step towards demonstrating the potential of hydrogen production as an innovative heat recovery solution for energy-intensive industries.
We would like to thank Vetrerie Meridionali for sharing our vision and hosting the pilot plant, as well as all the colleagues and partners who contributed to achieving this milestone.
More updates will follow as the testing campaign progresses.
